PB-COAT 2K
PB-COAT 2K is a premium two-component, bitumen-polyurethane based, liquid coating that reacts with moisture to form an incredibly strong yet highly flexible black membrane. It is a solution designed for maximum water protection in underground applications, even in the most challenging conditions.
Main advantages:
- Incredible elasticity: Features an elongation of up to 1000% at the breaking point, making it excellent for filling and bridging cracks.
- Resistance to extreme temperatures: Remains elastic even at -40 °C and does not lose its properties (does not become soft or sticky) at +80 °C heat.
- Complete tightness: Forms a seamless membrane 100% attached to the substrate, which prevents water from spreading under the coating even in the event of mechanical damage.
- Resistance to standing water: The coating does not peel off even after prolonged exposure to standing water, making it ideal for foundations or tanks.
- Chemical and mechanical resistance: High resistance to abrasion, alkalis, detergents and sea water.
Areas of application:
This product is universal and suitable for waterproofing various objects:
- Foundations, basements and tanks, green roofs, floors.
- Balconies, terraces and flower beds (under tiles).
- Bathrooms and kitchens (tiled).
- Bridges, tunnels and parking lots.
Usage recommendations:
- Consumption: Recommended yield is approximately 1.5–2 kg/m².
- Layers: Apply in 2-3 layers by roller, brush or airless spray.
- Drying time: Walkable (light traffic) after 12 hours , full hardening is achieved after 3 days .
- IMPORTANT: This coating is not resistant to direct UV rays, therefore it must be covered (e.g. with tiles, primer or other protective coating).
