Aliphatic polyurethane waterproofing protective layer

PU-COAT TOP is a single-component, solvent-based liquid coating based on aliphatic polyurethane resins. This coating has exceptional resistance to UV rays and abrasion, providing surfaces with long-lasting protection and an aesthetic appearance.

AREAS OF USE

Used as a protective top layer on PU-COAT membrane:

• Terraces and verandas.

• Stadiums and other public spaces where wear resistance is required.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

• Consumption: When used as a top coat – 150 – 250 g/m² (depending on surface roughness).

• Skin formation: Surface skin formation within 2 hours (at 23 °C).

• Hardening time: 12 – 24 hours.

• Elasticity: Elongation at break – 150% .

• Tensile strength: 4.64 N/mm².

• Hardness: 30 (Shore D).

• Specific gravity: 1.10 g/cm³.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

The surface to be coated must be dry, clean, free of dust, oil or other loose particles. It is recommended to avoid coating in rainy weather.

Application: Apply in 1-2 coats using a roller, brush or airless sprayer.

• Interval between coats: From 3-4 to 48 hours (the exact time depends on the ambient temperature and humidity).

Colors and packaging:

• Colors: Standard white and gray. Other colors are available upon special order.

• Packages: 1 kg, 5 kg and 20 kg capacity.
