SOLVENT MSIL Thinner

Special thinner for silicone/MS coatings

SOLVENT MSIL is a clear and translucent liquid made from aliphatic mineral spirits. This thinner has an extremely low aromatic content and low toxicity, which reduces the risk to the user during use.

MAIN FEATURES AND BENEFITS

• Safety and comfort: Features a faint odor and very low content of aromatic substances (usually less than 1%).

• Low toxicity: Designed to minimize health risks during use.

• Universal use: Suitable not only for thinning, but also for cleaning tools and equipment from fresh coating residues.

• Stability: When stored properly, the product remains technically stable for at least 12 months.

AREAS OF USE AND INSTRUCTIONS

• Compatibility: Specially adapted for diluting the single-component liquid roofing coating ROOF-COAT.

• Thinning: If thinning is necessary, it is recommended to add 5% to 15% thinner.

• Cleaning: Can be used to clean all tools that have come into contact with fresh coating.

• Density at 15 °C: 0.786 kg/L.

• Flash point: 67 °C.

• Auto-ignition temperature: 255 °C.

• Initial boiling point: 189 °C.

• Water content: Less than 0.005% m/m.

• Refractive index at 20 °C: 1.434.

STORAGE

• Shelf life: At least 12 months, provided proper storage conditions and precautions are taken.
