IN-COAT
Acrylic coating for interior waterproofing
IN-COAT is an interior waterproofing coating based on acrylic resins and special additives. It has excellent vapor permeability properties, which prevent the accumulation of condensation in interior structures.
MAIN FEATURES AND BENEFITS
-
Elasticity: It has excellent elastic properties and the ability to withstand structural movement.
-
Environmental resistance: Very good resistance to aging, UV radiation and moisture.
-
Mechanical strength: The coating has high mechanical resistance.
-
Vapor permeability: Provides waterproofing, but allows the surface to "breathe", thus protecting against condensation.
-
Versatility: Can be applied to virtually any surface (concrete, asbestos cement, boards, etc.) and is paintable.
AREAS OF USE
-
kitchens, wet areas.
-
Protection of various structural surfaces from moisture.
-
bathrooms, showers, toilets.
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
-
Consumption: Recommended 1–1.5 LTL/m² (depending on surface roughness).
-
Elongation at break: 650%.
-
Skin formation time: 120 min (at 23 °C and 50% relative humidity).
-
Curing speed: 1 mm in the first day.
-
Operating temperature: From -15 to +70 °C.
-
Hardness: 50 (Shore A).
-
Comparative weight: 1.5.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Surface preparation: The surface to be coated must be clean, free of dust and loose particles. It is recommended to fill cracks and seams with acrylic sealant.
-
Priming: To improve adhesion to concrete and strengthen weak surfaces, the use of UNI-PRIMER primer is strongly recommended.
Application: IN-COAT is applied in 2 layers using a roller or brush.
-
Conditions: It is recommended to carry out work at temperatures between +5 and +40 °C. Application in rainy weather should be avoided.
