PU-COAT CLEAR

Single-component, fully transparent polyurethane waterproofing membrane

PU-COAT CLEAR is a single-component, solvent-based liquid waterproofing membrane based on aliphatic polyurethane resins. This coating is crystal clear and is designed to protect surfaces without changing their original appearance.

AREAS OF USE

Designed for all waterproofing structures where a transparent sealant is required:

• Waterproofing of tiles, natural stone, wood, concrete and glass.

• Waterproofing of balconies and terraces by applying directly over the tiles.

• Used as a binder for decorative "stonecarpet" systems in combination with colored quartz or natural pebbles.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

• Consumption: Typically 0.2 – 1.0 kg/m² (depending on surface roughness).

• Skin formation: Surface skin formation within 90 min (at 23 °C).

• Hardening time: 12 – 24 hours.

• Tensile strength: 10.50 N/mm².

• Elongation at break: 160%.

• Hardness: 75 (Shore A).

• Weighting: 1.0.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Surface preparation: The surface to be coated must be dry and clean (free from dust or loose particles). It is recommended to avoid application in rainy weather.

• Important: On glazed tiles, it is always mandatory to use PRIMER DM primer before applying PU-COAT CLEAR.

Coating: Apply in 1–2 layers using a roller or brush.

• Interval: At least 3-4 hours must elapse between coats, but no more than 48 hours.

• Packaging: 1 kg, 4 kg and 20 kg cans.
