Fast-acting polyurethane primer for porous surfaces

PU-PRIMER 1K+ is a liquid, one-component polyurethane primer. It is designed to improve the adhesion of COATERA coatings and sealants to concrete and other porous substrates.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

• Consumption for concrete: 150–300 g/m².

• Consumption for sealing interior surfaces: 200 g/m².

• Interval before recoating: From 90 minutes to 24 hours.

• Tensile strength at break: 18–20 N/mm².

• Elongation: 120-180%.

• Viscosity: 30–100 mPas.

• Comparative weight: 0.98–1.02.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Surface preparation: The surface must be solid, clean, free from dust, oil and other contaminants. Do not use if the substrate humidity exceeds 5% or the temperature is below +5 °C (also if the surface is icy).

Coating:

1. Preparation: Do not pour the primer directly from the original container. Pour only the amount that will be used within 30 minutes and close the original container tightly.

2. Method: Apply a thin layer in one direction using a clean brush or roller to create an even film.

3. Important: Do not touch wet primer as this may impair adhesion. Do not apply over another coat of primer that has already dried.
