Two-component, solvent-free polyurethane primer

PU-PRIMER 2K is a liquid, two-component polyurethane primer designed to improve the adhesion of various COATERA products to porous substrates. This primer does not contain any solvents.

MAIN FEATURES AND BENEFITS

• Composition: 100% dry residue, solvent-free.

AREAS OF USE

• For pre-treatment of mineral substrates such as masonry, concrete and lightweight concrete.

• For preparing wooden substrates.

• For floor installation systems in combination with polyurethane coatings.

• As a primer on asphalt or bituminous membranes before using COATERA roofing materials.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

• Consumption: From 100 to 200 g/m² (depending on the substrate).

• Mixing ratio (A : B): 2 : 1 by weight.

• Pot Life: Approximately 25 minutes (at 23°C).

• Specific gravity: 1.08 g/ml.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Surface preparation: The substrate must be clean, free of dust and grease. Keep containers tightly closed until use.

Coating:

1. Mixing: Mix both components thoroughly in the specified ratio.

2. Quantity: Do not mix more primer than you can use within the product's working time (25 min).

3. Method: Apply a thin layer using a clean brush or roller to create an even and continuous film.

4. Important: Do not exceed 200 g/m². Avoid contact with cleaned and primed surfaces as greasy fingerprints may impair adhesion.
