Special thinner for polyurethane coatings

SOLVENT PU is a clear and colorless liquid intended for diluting one-component and two-component liquid polyurethane roof coatings. The product is based on xylene denatured with white spirit.

MAIN FEATURES AND BENEFITS

AREAS OF USE AND INSTRUCTIONS

• Thinning: If thinning of the coating is necessary, a 5-15% thinner is recommended.

• Cleaning: The thinner effectively removes fresh coating residues from brushes, rollers or other equipment used.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

• Xylene content: 94.9 %w/w.

• Density at 15 °C: 0.8 – 0.9 g/mL.

• Flash point: 29 °C.

• Initial boiling point: 138 °C.

• Non-aromatic compounds content: Less than 5 %w/w.

• Benzene content: Less than 150 mg/kg.

STORAGE

• Shelf life: At least 12 months, provided proper storage conditions and precautions are taken in sealed packaging.
